Notes
The combination of stitch pattern, needle size and yarn produce a very stretchy garment with negative ease. If you are in doubt as to which size to pick, go with the smaller of the sizes you are considering. To determine your size, measure yourself across the back from shoulder to shoulder. Refer to the diagram on page 2. The sleeves will stretch to fit up to the measurement listed. The pattern is written for size small, corrections for other sizes are listed in parentheses. The shrug is worked flat from sleeve to sleeve. Stitches are picked up around the edges of the body after the sleeves are sewn together.

'Main Body Measurements' in sizing refers to the shrug dimensions, blocked, before the border is added. The border is 2" across, giving 4" extra to the body. Sizes Small: Shoulder to shoulder across back 15" Sleeve circumference up to 12" Main Body Measurements 12"x 21" Medium: Shoulder to shoulder across back 17" Sleeve circumference up to 12" Main Body Measurements 12"x 23" Large: Shoulder to shoulder across back 19" Sleeve circumference up to 14" Main Body Measurements 14"x 26" 1 X: Shoulder to shoulder across back 21" Sleeve circumference up to 16" Main Body Measurements 16" x 29" 2 X: Shoulder to shoulder across back 23" Sleeve circumference up to 18" Main Body Measurements 18"x 33" 3 X: Shoulder to shoulder across back 25" Sleeve circumference up to 20" Main Body Measurements 20"x 35" Row 1: K1 \* P1, YO, K2tog tbl, P1, K2; Repeat from \* across (Right Side- Outside of garment) Row 2: \* P2, K1; Repeat from \* to last stitch, P1 (Wrong Side Inside of garment) Row 3: K1 \* P1, K2tog, YO, P1, K2; Repeat from \* across Row 4: Repeat row 2
