CROSSROAD CARDIGAN
By Louise Lamarche Fitted transitional cardigan quickly knitted in a DK yarn on larger needles to produce a lighter knit. It makes good usage of DK yardage at the gauge of an Aran weight. Knitted in one piece from the bottom edge to the armholes. After a 3-needle bind-off at the shoulder, stitches are picked up around the armhole and the sleeves are then worked from the top-down with easy short-rows ensuring a perfect fit without any sewing. Easy to adjust sleeve length. The V-neck and knotted motif on front and back lengthen the silhouette and provide a figure slimming effect. Please trust me on this, when you block it, it will stretch and you can make it as wide or long as you wish. Once dry it will shrink back a bit. Since you have knit it on larger needles, it will be soft and drapy. With 5mm needle,C0 196 (204, 220, 236, 252,277, 285, 305) stitches.
