Sainte-Marie
This lovely linen scarf is the perfect companion for your spring and summer wardrobe.It is named after a little beach on the French Atlantic coast where T spent a wonderful day knitting with this yarn last summer. The design echoes the Atlantic waves and transforms them into a beautiful and versatile accessory.
Materials:
Needles: 3.5mm (US size 4) needles or size to obtain gauge. A larger needle me be helpful to bind off. Yarn: approx. 225m/246yds of Karen Noe Design Linea (sport/5ply, 75% linen/ 25% cotton, 260m/284yds in 100g). Notions: tapestry needle to weave in ends, pins to block. Gauge: (in pattern stitch) 37 sts x 24 rows = 15 x 9cm/ 6 x 3.5" before blocking. Gauge is not crucial, except to determine yardage. Size: Approx. 18cm/7" wide and 165cm/65" long after blocking.
