Supplies: Worsted weight yarn in two colors. Used in sample: Plymouth Encore worsted Pink #478 as (MC) and Cascade Hollywood worsted Black #10 as (CC). Straight or circular needles US size 8(5.0mm) or size necessary to obtain gauge. Gauge: 18 sts over 4 inches in garter stitch Using MC, Cast on 24 stitches Work 4 row Garter Stitch Pattern as follows: Row1: Using MC, knit Row 2: knit Row 3: Change to CC, knit Row 4: knit Rows 5 - 20: Repeat rows 1-4, 4 more times. About the Charts The A and B Charts contain the same information. The A Charts shows the row color all the way across the Chart, where as the B Chart shows the color only on the first stitch, and on the stitches to be knitted on the even rows. While the A charts are a more accurate depiction, the B charts are easier to read.
