Crochet Fold Over Cuffs Pattern: Detailed Instructions for Boot Accessories

InStructiOns

Hdc: Half Double Crochet Ch: chain Sc: Single Crochet Sk: Skip This pattern uses worsted weight or aran yarn and a size 4mm crochet hook (G) to create some cute little crochet cuffs for your boots! Instructions to size up and down are on the next page. Gauge is not impor tant because this is a fuid pattern and can be made to fit any size. There is a video detailing how I crochet this. You will need:

100-150 yards of worsted weight yarn. (I had a lot left over Size 4 mm crochet hook Yarn needle for weaving in ends. A leg to put the finished item on.

PATTERN

1. Using a 4mm crochet hook (G) chain 15. Skip the first chain and hdc until end for 14 hdc. Row 1: Chain 1 and turn. Hdc into every st down the row for 14 hdc. 2. Repeat row one until this can be tightly wrapped around desired limb at desired place (ankle, calf, above knee).

3. Now, chain one, do two rows of sc across the top of the piece. and turn. We are now going to slope the curve of the piec. Row 3: Sk the ch and first st, and sc into second st from hook and all the way across. chain 1 and turn. Row 4: Sk the ch and first st, and sc into second st from hook and all the way across until you reach the previous skipped stitch from row three. Stop your sc at the stitch before the skipped stitch from the previous row. Chain one and turn. Repeat row four 6-11 times until the fold over part is halfway as long as the double crochet bottom cuff. I repeated here about 8 times before going on to the finishing rows. You may need to repeat more or less depending on your unique gauge.

Now we will work the last remaining rows to create a point on the piece.

Finishing rows:

Row 1: Chain 1 and turn. Skip the chain and the first st, and sc into the second st from hook. Now \*Sc2tog, sc\* all the way across repeating from the \* until you hit the skipped st area from the previous row. If you end with an extra stitch, simply sc that. Row 2: Chain 1 and turn. Skip the chain and the first st, and sc into the second st from hook. Sc all the way across until you hit the skipped st area from the previous row. If you end with an extra stitch, simply sc that. Row 3: Repeat finishing row 1 Row 4: Repeat finishing tow 2 Row 5: Chain 1 and turn. Skip the chain and the first st, and sc into the second st from hook. Now \*Sc2tog\* all the way across repeating from the \* until you hit the skipped st area from the previous row. If you end with an extra stitch, simply sc that all by it's lonesome Row 6: Chain 1 and turn. Skip the chain and the first st, and sc into the second st from hook. Sc all the way across until you hit the skipped st area from the previous row. If you end with an extra stitch, simply sc that. Row 7: Chain 1 and turn and sc the remaining sts al together. I had three, you may have four or 5 left over. If you have more then 5 sts simply repeat row 5 and 6 again until you have less then 5 sts left. Now we will work one final sc row all the way around the piece just to even out the edges
