Mistletoe and Berries
Materials Used
Small amount of green and white worsted weight yarn Size E crochet hook
Stitches used
Ch-chain Sl st- slip stitch Sc- single crochet Hdc- half double crochet Dc- double crochet Berry stitch- yarn over hook and draw up a loop, do this 3 times, draw though all loops on hook chain 1 and slip stitch into original stitch to finish.
Instructions
Usinggreen Leaf 1 Ch10 \*SI st in 2nd ch from hook, sl st in next 3 ch, sc in next 2 ch, hdc in next 2 ch, 4dc in last ch. Working down other side of ch 2hdc, 2sc, 4sl st.\* finish off and weave in ends Leaf 2 Ch 10 repeat from \* to \* on leaf 1, chain 3 sl st to leaf 1, ch1 Turn sl st into next 2 ch. Do not fasten off. Join yrn to side of stem, ch1 and work berry st.(fig3) Do this on other side of stem and in the middle of the stem. (fig 4 and 5) Finish off and weave in all ends. Attach length of thread/ribbon to end of stem to create a hanging loop.
