HOW TO
Worked on the round... For the main part of coaster (with DK or light weight cotton): 1. In a magic ring: Ch3 (counts as first dc), 1dc, ch1. Repeat 5 times: \*2dc, ch1\* [Total: 6 clusters] . 2. Slip St until reaching the first space between clusters. Ch3 (counts as first dc), 1dc, ch2, 2dc. Repeat 5 times: \*2dc, ch2, 2dc\* 3. Slip St until reaching the first space between clusters. Ch3 (counts as first dc), 2dc, ch1. Repeat 11 times: \*3dc, ch1 (in space between clusters)\* 4. Ch1, and sc in every st, all around. Close with sl st. [Total: 12 clusters)

For the final border (with fine thread #5 or #10): Start with 1sc in any st. Repeat all around: \*3ch, 2dc tog over the working sc, skip 1st and make 1sc on 2nd st\*. Finish with a sl st on firstsc. Weave in ends.
