BORDER IDEA
The flat braid joining technique goes perfectly with this square, but you can use any border you wish when joining other squares. Here is the square with the flat braid join, and then two squares joined together (the square on the right is my Puffy Flower Square)

If you're looking to do the flat braid join, BabyLove Brand has a fabulous tutorial that can be found on her website ( http://babylovebrand.net/2013/04/19/tutorial-flat-braid-join/ )
