Materials
Bulky weight yarn or two strands of worsted worked at the same time. You can use a single strand of worsted weight but it will be floppier than with two strands. For the Unwound Rose, floppy might be more of what you want.

Pattern:
To start, form a magic ring. Row 1: Ch1. 5sc in ring. Tighten loop. Row 2: Ch1. (sc, 3 dc, sc) in each st around. Join in first sc. That's it! Easy, huh? Work the first row in a different color for added interest.

Large Rose Pattern:
To start, form a magic ring. Row 1: Ch3. Dc 10 times into magic ring. Tighten loop. Row 2: Skip starting chain. Bpdc into first dc of round 1 twice. Continue 2 bpdc in each dc around (20bpdc) Row 3: Just like the previous row, do 2 bpdc in each of the previous rounds stitches. (40 bpdc) Row 4: Bpdc in next 10 stitches. Bphdc in next st. Bpsc in next st. Row 5: Turn, ch 2. Dc in each stitch around. Row 6: Turn, ch 2. Dc in each stitch around. Sl st to post of next dc. Tie off.
Small Rose Pattern:
To start, form a magic ring. Row 1: Ch3. Dc 10 times into magic ring. Tighten loop. Row 2: Skip starting chain. Bpdc into first dc of round 1 twice.
