Modified Basic Cable Scarf
by Lady Aerlyn Knitting Neck / Torso → Scarf Published March 2013 This is a modified version of the gorgeous Basic Cable Scarf from yarnhag posted on Craftster. I modified the border to make it skinnier and added adjustments for cable narrowing on the two ends. This is a good beginner pattern for cables and yields a fast and beautiful scarf if done in bulky yarn. Finished dimensions - 5 inches wide x 5 ft long Materials: US 13, 9mm needles cable needle (big J one) 2 skeins of #6 super bulky yarn (10 oz / 284 gm)
