BabyMittens
To fit baby up to six months old. Crocheted ties at the wrist help keep the mitten on baby's hands. Requires about 11 gms, 45m metres, 50 yards 4ply sock yarn. I used Opal self patterning, 75% superwash wool, 25% polyamide. To get a matching pair of mittens you need to ensure that you start each one on the same position of the colour repeat. However serendipity ensured that each mitten required just one full colour repeat. Alsorequired: 4 double pointed needles, 2.5mm or size required to obtain a tension of 30 sts per 10cm 2.5mm crochet hook. Large eyed sewing needle.
