Dressing/Blocking
I blocked my scarf on a double bed with blocking wires and rustproof pins, but al you really need i large enough fla space, measuring tape, rustproof pins and time! Soak the scarf in lukewarm water with some gentle detergent suitable for your yarn. If using wool, don't alter the temperature of the water as this could cause felting. Rinse until all the detergent is rinsed out, wrap in a colourfast towel, and blot to take out most of the moisture. Lay out on your chosen flat surface and pin out along the top edge, stretching gently, and then along each point of the edging. You can use the tape measure to make sure each side is even and the top edge is in a straight line. Leave until completely dry. Unpin and enjoy! Key
