Hair:
I used approx. 1of a ball of yarn. I stretched my arm and hold the end on my hand. Then I wrapped the yarn around the back of my neck to my hand, so would create big loops. When you wrapped the whole ball of yarn like this, get it from the back of your neck and cut through the side you have in your hand and on the other side as well. You will have many long strings of yarn. Take 35 strands per braid. Because you fold the strands when you attach the yarn, you will have 70 strands per braid. Get the top of the beanie determine where you would like the braids on the beanie and start attaching the hair. Then make the braids. Use a strand to fasten the braid. Finishing: Cut the bottom of the braids even and attach the ribbon to the ends.
Work instruction Dolly:
You make the dolly from the strands you have left from the braids. Fold the strands double, but take care you keep 9 strands apart to tie up the 'body parts'. When folded double; 1. Knot one strand to mark hair and top of head. 2. Knot one strands to mark bottom of head and top of torso. 3. Divide the rest in 3 parts, 2 smaller on the side and one big one in the middle. 4. Knot one strand to mark bottom of torso and start of legs. 5. Divide the leg part in 2. 6. Knot one strand to mark bottom leg and start foot do this two times. 7. Knot one strand to mark 'elbow', do this two times. 8. Knot one strand to mark bottom arm and top hands, do this two times. 9. Cut the loops of the hair and cut it further like you want.
