Materials Worsted/10ply yarn (l used Lily's Sugar'n Cream cotton yarn) 5.00mm hook (H/8) Abbreviations: CH - chain ST - stitch STS - stitches SC - single crochet CH 19 SC in 2nd CH from hook SC across row, CH 1, turn (18 STS) SC until piece measures 10 cm SC in back loop only (measure from here) SC until piece measures 8 cm SC 8 STS, CH 2, skip 2 STS, SC 8, CH 1 Turn SC until piece measures 2 cm from buttonhole Cut yarn, fasten off The middle of your project should have a natural ridge for closing. Close your project. The side with the buttonhole is the front and the other side is the back. Inside of Back Piece: Re-attach yarn on 2nd row and 2 ST from bottom with a slip stitch. CH 1. Continue working along this row attaching the stitches as you go (you are forming the bottom of the pocket) SC across row, stopping 1 ST before end (16 STS) CH 1, Turn SC until piece measures 7 cm Attach the corner to the inside of the back piece using a SC and continue down the edge in SC (you are forming the side of the tea bag pocket) Slip Stitch along bottom row and attach the other side using SC (finishing the pocket) Cut yarn, fasten off Inside of Top Piece: Turn upside down (buttonhole is at the bottom) Attach yarn 1 row above buttonhole on the right side and 2nd ST from edge with slip stitch. Continue working along this row attaching the stitches as you go (you are creating a sugar packet pocket) SC 6 STS (7 STS including CH ST) CH 1, turn SC until piece measures 5 1/2 cm Attach the corner to the inside of the back piece using a SC and continue down the edge in SC (you are forming the side of the tea bag pocket) Slip Stitch along bottom row and attach the other side using SC (finishing the pocket) Cut yarn, fasten off Turn piece with buttonhole on the top Attach yarn 1 row above buttonhole and 2nd ST from the edge using slip stitch.
