The Litle Flower Doily

Materials: -#10 Cotton or fingering weight, smooth yarn: approximately 150 yards -US 1 double-pointed needles or size for the look you prefer. -Stainless T-pins and a yarn needle -Crochet hook in appropriate size for your thread, for cast-off

Instructions:

-Cast-on 8 stitches to four needles, join in round and repeat the chart eight times for each round (twice per needle.) -Even numbered rows are knit plain, but maintain the twisted stitches as twisted from the proceeding odd numbered row. -Follow the chart and complete row 38 (knit plain.) -Crochet cast-off is as follows: Gather the number of stitches indicated by the span of the bold blocks and crochet them together, then chain the number indicated by the numeral in the bold block. Continue until you chain the final section. Join that chain to the gathered group from the start of the cast-off and weave ends in, but do not cut them. -Soak in cool water for at least 30 minutes, roll in towel and pull out firmly to shape. -Pin each crochet-chain out with a pin and allow to dry totally before removing pins and clipping ends. -Enjoy!
