Materials:
Fingering/4 ply yarn - approx 500 yds 4mm crochet hook Stitch marker Embroidery needle Size: Approx. 50 by 23 inches Make flower - Using two dtr's next to each other, stitches are formed around 1st dtr, then up the 2nd dtr FPtr around 1st dtr (then continue working down the st post), dtr, tr, dc, tr, dtr, tr, dc, tr, dtr, turn work 180° anti-clockwise, FPtr around 2nd dtr (and now working up the st post of the 2nd dtr), dc, tr, dtr, tr, dc, tr, then into the gap between the two sts, dtr, tr, dc. Magic Circle - This pattern uses magic circle to start the shawl. To create a magic circle: Wrap the yarn around your index finger. Insert hook into the ring on finger, yarn over and draw up a loop. Carefully slip ring from finger and work the first 9 stitches into the ring. When these stitches are complete, gently but firmly, pull tail to close up the ring. Turn at the end of each row. Move st marker up a row as you go along.
