One knits this shawl in one piece, top down, increasing 3 stitches at the beginning and at the end of each odd row (yellow stitches). The border is knitted at the end. Only odd rows are charted. Purl even rows. The green stitch is the central stitch. Put a marker before or after this stitc A general chart is proposed to understand how charts A,B,C,D are organized. The crescent form is actually on the opposite side when you block the shawl. Cast on 5 stitches and knit 1 row. Continue with chart A. Be careful: The yellow stitches are not charted on charts B,C,D but do not forget to knit them.

Continue with chart B Continue with chart C. Only the part at the right of the green central stitch is charted. (right part of chart B and 1 boxed pattern) For the left part, knit the boxed pattern once again and continue with the left part of chartB. For rows 71 to 101, knit the right part of chart B, then 4 boxed patterns, and the left part of chart B. For rows 103 to 109, knit the right part of chart B, the 6 boxed patterns, and the left part of chart B. Continue with chart D. Repeat the boxed pattern 15 times.
BORDER
At the end of row 116, create 4 chain stitches with a small needle. Knit row a. The last stitch of the row is knitted together in the back loop with the first stitch of the shawl. (in red) Knit the stitches of the small needle, following row b. Continue the border repeating rows 1 and 2 . Knit the 2 last rows in stockinett stitches.
