Pattern notes:
The Sunny Slouchy Beret pattern features simple yet attractive textural stitch patterns. It makes a lightweight cozy hat. This slouchy beret is designed to be knit in two colours to accentuate the distinctiveness of the stitch pattern, but the choice is yours. It can be knit in one colour, or even with a self-striping yarn which already has contrasting colours in it. Designed to be worked seamlessly in the round starting at the band and customizing the final look by completing fewer or more pattern repeats to adjust the height of the hat making it less or more slouchy. In child's sizes the beret has a shallower beanie style fit.
Gauge:
30 sts x 38 rows to 10cm/4in square over stockinette stitch on 3mm/Us #2.5 needles
