Snelle Annabelle
(That's Dutch for‘Fast Annabelle') This cowl was specially designed for chilly people. Those , who always feel cold, even in summer. If you are one of them, or just have to endure severe winters, this is your cowl! It is a very bulky cowl, that you can wrap around your neck two or three times. In finer yarn it would require a very long time to knit. But thanks to the very bulky yarn and easy to follow leaf stitch it is a very fast knit.

Finishing:
If you used provisional cast on, connect scarf ends by grafting or 3-needles bind off. If not, BO all sts and sew scarf ends together. Be careful not to twist. Weave in yarn ends.
Tips about sizing:
- Size of the cowl is based on the designer's loose knitting style. - Yarn label gauge will result in a slightly less wide, less long cowl. Other yarns may also result in less wide, less long cowl. Usually this is no problem. - You can lengthen your cowl by working more (full) pattern repeats. - You can make a wider scarf by casting on more stitches (even number). Work in line with the pattern and start second leaf (like in unaltered pattern row 17) when you have 5 sts left before decrease stitch. - Cowl of 180 cm can be wrapped around a neck three times. 120 cm is a sufficient lenght if you want to wrap it 2 times.
Tips about yarn:
- Using very bulky yarn is preferred. (Much) smaller yarns may result in edges that roll too much. - You can use smaller yarn and take it double (or triple). But take care; Snelle Annabelle may gain too much weight that way.
