KNIT PATTERN
April Showers
Fast, Easy & Reversible Cloth I by Barbara Spencer Hawk

HIGHLIGHTS
Need a quick last-minute gift or a spark of color to brighten your day? This fast, easy pattern produces a reversible spa cloth versatile enough for Mom, baby, best friend . or you. (It makes a great dish cloth, too.) The narrow garter stitch border prevents curling and frames simple cables on one side and 2x2 ribs on the other. The cable is easy to knit and does NoT require a cable needle. The design works well in a variety of yarns from cotton and cotton blends to bamboo or linen. DK to worsted weights are ideal or carry light weight yarns together for a customized look. Have fun. Experiment to create the look you want: sweet in soft pastels, cheerful in bright colors, or tailored in tweeds and neutrals. The pattern is suitable for moderately experienced beginners. QUICK REFERENCE
All calculations are based on worsted weight yarn worked with the identified needle sizes. Gauge isn't crucial, so sizes and dimensions are approximate after blocking. Yardage estimates are generous.
