Try the jacket on the Hippo. Fold back the collar and sew the jacket onto the body. Add a button.Attach the arms.

Black pupil:
Ch 4, join to form a ring. 6 sc into the ring. Attach the eyes in place: attach the white part, stuffing it with polyester; divide it into two parts with black thread. Attach the iris, then - the black pupil. Embroider the eyebrows.

Nostrils:
With beige yarn, ch 4, join to form a ring. 6 sc into the ring. Rnd1: (2 sc in each sc) 6 times - 12 sc Rnd2: (1 sc, 2 sc in next sc) 6 times - 18 sc Fold the ring in half and work a row of sc binding the edges of the ring (see the photo) Attach thenostrils in place

Embroider it with a black thread. Teeth are made of white felt; you can glue them in place or sew them onto the sides of Hippo's mouth Bow tie: Workflat rows Ch 10 + 1 (turning ch) Work 14 flat rows and don't forget to ad a turning ch at the end of each row Work a row of sc along the rectangle's edge Break the yarn Make a band: Approx. Ch 40 (try it around Hippo's neck) Rowl: sc to the end Break the yarn, leaving a long end for assembling Form a tie as seen below. Sew it onto the band. Put it on the Hippo and sew in place.

Top hat: With black yarn, ch 4, join to form a ring. 6 sc into the ring. Rnd1: (2 sc in each sc) around - 12 sc Rnd2: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around - 18 sc Rnd3: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around - 24 sc Rnd4: sc around through the back loop only (the edge) Rnd5-7: sc around - 24 sc Rnd8: 2 sc into each sc - 48 sc Fastenoff Glue a white ribbon around the hat. Stuff the hat and attach it to Hippo's head.

Big white flower will be a nice addition to Hippo's outfit
