Reversible Textured Dishcloth by Sammie Carraher
Looks exactly the same on both sides. Can be made in small or large size or any size you want! Body uses only one row repeated. Materials: 55 to 60 yards of worsted weight cotton yarn. Knitting needles size US 7 or 8 (4.5 to 5.0mm) or whatever size needle you want to use with your yarn depending on how loose you want the finished fabric of the dishcloth.

Gauge: Not important. Use smaller needles with your yarn if you want a tight weave or bigger needles if you want a looserweave. Stitches: Knit, Purl and Knit One Behind (knit in the back loop of the stitch). Cast On: 32 sts for a smaller sized dishcloth 36 sts for a larger sized dishcloth Any multiple of 4 sts can be used if you want to use the same pattern to make a placemat or coaster or afghan. Row 1: Slip 1 Purl wise, Knit to end of row. Repeat this row 3 more times (4 rows total) . Row 2: Slip 1 Purl wise, (Knit 2, Knit 1 behind, Purl 1) repeat till last three stitches, Knit 3. Repeat this row until the cloth is just about square. Now repeat row 1 four more times and bind off. Weave in ends. Slipping the first stitch Purl wise on each row will give a very nice finish to the edges of the cloth.
