Man-Tastic Socks
by Mathieu La Rose of http://www.manspun.com/ TIP (SiziNG): The size is for a men's medium to large as I knit for my size 13.5 foot which meant knitting for a long time on the foot. The calf dimensions are for medium to large. With a fingering or light fingering merino/nylon yarn, this cuff, leg and heel also fit for a women's leg. However, if you have a favourite fitting cuff, heel, or toe, you can incorporate them. You can also cast on as many stitches as you would like to fit around your leg - ensure that the stitch pattern is divisible by the number of stitches that you cast on.
