Sherbet the Pug

Materials
Double Knitting yarn in beige, light blue and black, 3mm crochet hook, toy filling, large eyed needle for sewing up, black colouring pencil for eye patches Ch - chain, sc - single crochet (UK double crochet), inc - increase (work 2 stitches into stitch from previous row), dec- decrease (l recommend invisible decrease) I start with a chain 2, please using magic ring if that is your preferred way to start a circle. All parts except ears are worked in the spiral amigurumi style - ie do not join and chain up, instead continue working into the 1"t stitch from the last row and use a marker for row ends
HEAD
Using beige chain 2, work 6 sc into 2nd chain from hook NR - (inc) in each sc - 12 sc NR - (1sc, inc) around - 18sc NR - (2sc, inc) around - 24sc Work 4 rounds sc NR - (2sc, dec) around - 18sc NR - (sc, dec) around - 12sc Fasten off and stuff head
BODY
Using beige chain 2 work 6sc into 2nd chain from hook NR - (inc) in each sc - 12 sc NR - (1sc, inc) around - 18sc NR - (2sc, inc) around - 24sc 1 round NR - (6sc, dec) around - 21sc , change to blue 1 round NR - (5sc, dec) around - 18sc 1 round NR - (1sc, dec) around - 12sc Fasten off, stuff body, attach open end of head to open end of body
Front legs
Using beige chain 2 work 6sc into 2nd chain from hook Work 1 round beige on 6 sc, change to light blue, work 2 rounds of 6 sc fasten Off Lightly stuff... the ends of yarn will likely be more than enough leaving the last end tosewtobody Back legs Using beige chain 2 work 6sc into 2nd chain from hook Work 2 rounds on 6 stitches, fasten off,lightly stuff as front legs Position legs using pictures as a guide. Pin in place 1st so you can moe them around until you are happy with placement. Sew in place
MUZZLE
Using black chain 2 work 6sc into 2nd chain from hook NR - (sc, inc) around - 9sc, fasten off. Sew to front of head as in pictures
EARS
Using black chain 2, work 3 sc in 2nd chain from hook- 3sc NR - turn, do not chain 1 but start in sc net to hook, Working in FLO sc across row (to help prevent holes in work) NR - turn, do not chain 1 but start in sc net to hook, Working in BLO sc along row Fasten off. Sew to top of head as in pictures.
Patches
Using a black colouring pencil gently rub the side of the lead to make circle eye patches above the muzzle as in pictures. It can sometimes be easier to wet the pencil slightly and rub over the back of your hand and fingerdab it on but start well diluted and build slowly. To finish eyes make a couple of chain stitches using black yarn in the middle of the eye patches as in pictures for the eyes themselves
TAIL
Using beige chain 10. stitch into 1st chain next to hook then slip stitch along to end of chain Sew one short end to the pugs bottom then curl the other end around like a pig/pug tail and use a couple of stitches secure in place
