Amigurumi Batman Egg Cosy Pattern: A Comic Book Inspired Design by Ellie Skene for Personal Non-Commercial Use

Batman Egg Cosy

Pattern illustration

Pattern by Ellie Skene To the Bat Cave! There's not a moment to lose! Everyone loves Batman- don't they? Well here's a cute litle amigurumi Batman to make all for your very own. And he'll keep your eggs warm too! He's based on the comic book Batman, combined with the Adam West Batman, as I thought this would be the most recognisable.

Pattern Information

This pattern is in English terms (for USA, dc = sc, and tr = dc)

I used a cheap double knit acrylic yarn and a size 4 hook. This gave me the perfect size cosy. It also makes it a good size for a finger puppet. I tend to do each row as a full row, by starting with 1 chain, and then a slip stitch at the end of the row, this does however cause a slight ridge to form along the back. If you'd rather avoid this ridge, then you can either use stitch markers or count your stitches - whichever method you prefer. If you choose to do that, please skip the Ch 1 at the beginning of each row.
