Sample to the right was knit with King Cole Merino Blend Four DK, ( $100\%$ Pure New Wool, superwash; $50\ \mathrm{gr}/123$ yds) One skein each in colors Copper 109 and Bottle 33- used all of both skeins.

Sample to the right was knit with FatCatKnits Handpainted Yarns, one skein Christie ( $100\%$ wool; 1000 yds/lb) and the other skein Sierra $60\%$ merino $10\%$ silk; 1000 yds/lb) All skeins are one of a kind colorways. Hat used approx 2 0z (125 yds) of each skein.


Sample to the left was knit with Bernat Berella “4",( $100\%$ Acrylic; $3~\mathrm{oz}/165$ yds) One skein each in colors Luxury Ombre 02803 and Rustic Rodeo Ombre 02821- used nearly all of both skeins.

Sample to the left was knit with handspun yarn, from FatCatKnits Handpainted Combed Tops. It used approx 2 oz each of two colorways of handspun superwash Bluefaced Leicester combed top, spun as sport weight soft singles.
Game Hat

Sample knit using only two multicolor skeins of BluefacedLeicester handspun yarn A simple design, worked from the brim up. This hat is a great way to use up partial skeins, and absolutely wonderful made with handpainted yarns, especially those prone to pooling or flashing. With instructions for 7 gauges, from 6 sts/in to 3 sts/in. Just determine your gauge, cast on, and get knitting!
This pattern is great for knitting team colors hats to wear at sporting events! See first sample on back for a great example.
Uses $@$ 1/ -2 oz each of two different yarns, or any combination $3\%$ ofyarnstoequal -4oztotalweight 16" circular needle in size appropriate for your yarn and gauge. You will also need circular needle and set of dbl pts 2-3 sizes smaller thanyour main needle)
