AMIGURUMI SPIDER

MATERIALS:
Worsted weight acrylic yarn (I used Red Heart Royal Blue and Hot Red) G/6 $\mathrm{4.25mm})$ hook Fiberfill for stuffing Pipe cleaners (chenille) Yarn needle Animal safety eyes (optional)
NOTES:
Rounds are worked in a spiral and not joined together. Use a marker to keep track of rounds. Feel free to make as many spiders as you want for yourself your family and friends. Please do not sell or repost this pattern.
HEAD:
Chain 6 and join with a sl st to form a circle or use a magic ring of 6 sc. Round 1 2 sc in each st around - 12 sc. Round 2 $^{*1}$ sc in first st, 2 sc in next sc; repeat from \* around - 18 sc. Round 3 $^{*1}$ sc in each of the first 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc; repeat from \* around - 24 sc. Round 4 $^{*1}$ sc in each of the first 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc; repeat from \* around - 30 sc. Rounds 5- 6 1 sc in each sc - 30 sc. Round 7 \*sc2tog, 1 sc in each of the next 3 sc; repeat from \* around - 24 sc. Rounds 8-9 1 sc in each sc - 24 sc. Round10 \*sc2tog, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sc; repeat from \* around - 18 sC. Round 11 1 sc in each sc - 18 sc. Round 12 \*sc2tog, 1 sc in each of the next 1 sc; repeat from \* around - 12 sc. Round 13 1 sc in each sc - 12 sc. SI st in next sc. Fasten off, leaving a $10^{\circ}$ tail.
BODY:

Round 13 \*sc2tog, 1 sc in each of the next 6 sc; repeat from \* around - 42 sC. Round 14 \*sc2tog, 1 sc in each of the next 5 sc; repeat from \* around - 36 sC. Round 15 \*sc2tog, 1 sc in each of the next 4 sc; repeat from \* around - 30 sc. Round 16 \*sc2tog, 1 sc in each of the next 3 sc; repeat from \* around - 24 sCc. Round 17 \*sc2tog, 1 sc in each of the next 2 sc; repeat from \* around - 18 sc. Round 18 \*sc2tog, 1 sc in each of the next 1 sc; repeat from \* around - 12 sc. Sl st in next sc. Fasten off.
LEGS - Make 8
Ch 15. Turn. 14 sc in each st across. Ch 1. Turn. Fasten off, leaving a short tail.
FANGS - Make 2 (Optional)
Ch 4. Turn. 1 sc in each of the first 2 sts. Sl st in last st. Fasten off, leaving a short tail.
FINISHING
Stuff the head and body with fiberfill. Line up the slip stitches of each piece, and whipstitch the head to the body using the long tail of the head. Fold the legs in half long ways and whipstitch together. Cut pipe cleaner (chenille) pieces to fit legs and insert in legs. Whipstitch the legs to the body using the short tails. Look at the pictures above for reference. Whipstitch the fangs to the head using the short tail. Look at the pictures above for reference. Decorate the spider as desired with embroidery floss, yarn, or animal safety eyes.
