Weave in ends and hand felt. Block, using a 9-inch circumference by l-inch tall plate for the crown and stuffing body with plastic bags. Pin brim flat. In order to give it rigidity I chose to immerse the hat in a mixture of 2 cups water and 2 tablespoons cornstarch and block it again in the Same way I initially blocked it. Measure about 1 inch up from edge of brim and sew on ribbon.
