USE A LIFELINE:
An easy way to\`catch'dropped stitches! Run a fine thread through the stitches of a completed row. It takes just a few seconds. If disaster strikes, you only ever have to unravel back to the 'lifeline' row and your stitches will be safe and easy to slip back onto the needle. Use a lifeline as often as you like and knit with confidence!
BEADINGANDSTITCHTECHNIQUES:
BK1 (Bead knit stitch): Pick up bead, sliding it onto the shaft of the crochet hook. Using hook, lift first stitch from knitting needle. Pull stitch through bead and return stitch (with bead on) to left needle. Knit stitch.
AllGarmentsshowninColintonUltrafine Make chained selvedge by slipping first stitch of each row (Sl 1) with yarn in front as if to purl. Return yarn to back of work, between first and second stitches, ready to knit second stitch. GENERAL WASHING AND BLOCKING INSTRUCTIONS: The best results are achieved by completing this step. The CO and BO will determine the finished dimensions. It is important that these widths are consistent particularly where symmetry is important. While the knitting itself will slide and move due to the silky quality of the mohair, the garment size will be defined by the CO and BO edges. Leave long tails at completion or on any knots and weave these in before washing. Knots have a tendency to loosen until after the wash process. Fill sink with lukewarm water. Dilute mild detergent solution before submerging garment and allow it to soak. We recommend using Unicorn Fiber Wash. Minimize agitation as this may felt the fibers. Rinse thoroughly under tap until suds are eliminated. If there is concern over residual dyes left in the yarn, we recommend adding some white household vinegar to the wash water to complete dye absorption. We highly recommend adding a 10-minute soak in Unicorn Fiber Rinse solution diluted in cool water. It helps to remove static and protect the garment. Gently squeeze out excess water in a towel and proceed to block the garment. Stretch the CO and BO to the desired widths, and pin into place on dry towel. Use pins or blocking wires to create an even edge in between. The stitching will become very smooth and even. Allow to completely dry before unpinning.
INSTRUCTIONS
With US size 10 needles CO 55 sts using a very stretchy, loose method, to ensure wrap will block to full size. Change to Us Size 8 needles for body of wrap. Work Setup Row: Sl 1 (see TECHNIQUES above), K54. Work Setup Row five (5) more times, for a total of 6 rows completed.

Row 15: (RS) Sl 1, K4, \*yo, K2tog, yo, K2tog, yo, K2tog, K4, repfrom\*. Rows 16-18: Sl 1, K54 (3 rows) Work Rows 15-18 four (4) more times, for a total of 20 rows completed. Rows 19-24: Sl 1, K54 (6 rows) Row 25: Sl 1, K4, \*yo, K2tog, rep from \* to last 4 sts, K4. Rows 26-34: Sl 1, K54 (9 rows) Work all Rows 15-34 six (6) more times, for a total of 7 complete blocks. Work Rows 15-18 five (5) times (20 rows); This results in 8 completed blocks of lace pattern in total. Work Setup Row twice (2 rows)
Work Rows 1-9 once, beginning and ending with a beaded row. (9 rows) Work Setup Row six (6) times. (6 rows) BIND OFF very loosely on US Size 10 needle in K on WS. Weave in ends. Wash and Block garment.
