Little Leaf Motif
designed by Charlene "chari" Maciejewski for Sideways Eight

I'm participating in Mystery Sock Vll: Centerpiece, by Wendy Gaal, in the Knitters Brewing group of Ravelry. We're stll in Clue 1. Wendy is one of my favorite designers because she always pulls a new technique out of her hat, making this a double mystery. What will the finished sock, or other object, look like? and What new, indispensable technique will we learn? A bonus to clue one is a lovely tiny cabbage rose. It just looked like it wanted a leafy friend. I have no idea whether Wendy will be including one in future clues. I'm also beta testing an awesome charting/pattern generating app, Pattern Genius, by Sally Holt. I used that to create the chart and generate the key and instructions. Actually, this entire document was created on my tablet. It is a work in progress. Please accept this gift to the Ravelverse with my good wishes. I'd love for you to let me know how you use it. Note: The leaf begins with i cord. For a neater start, and easier finishing, be sure to catch the tail yarn as you bring the working yarn around the back to begin the next row. 2015 Charlene "chari" Maciejewski Chart, Key, and Written Instructions generated by Pattern Genius Feb 2, 2015 Little Leaf Motif
