"Fingering" wool. I've used a handdyed yarn (merino 100%)，140 m - 153.1 yards/50 gr 1.76 oz.， color SWEETSUNSET，2 balls. Circular needles size 3,5 mm - US 4 with wire 60 cm 23.5" long. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge. Gauge is not crucial， but it will affect the finished size. 26 small buttons (cm 1). Tapestry needle. FOR THE WORKED IN THE ROUND VERSION: l stitch marker.
Gauge:
21 sts x 36 rows = 10 cm - 4" in lace pattern and lightly stretched.
