A hand-knitted bath mitt makes a great gift when matched up with some fancy soaps and bath salts. This easy bath mitt can be made in two sizes and only requires a few hours to complete.
Finished Measurements:
Regular - $6^{\prime\prime}\times7.5^{\prime\prime}$ $\mathsf{^{\prime}H u g e}-7.75\,^{\prime\prime}\times9.5\,^{\prime\prime})$ Gauge: 3.5 sts/inch
Materials/Supplies:
1 Pair of US Size 9 Needles (or size needed for gauge) 2 Skeins of Sugar and Cream Solid Yarn (120 yds/skein) Darning Needle
Instructions:
With yarn held double, CO 18 (24) sts using the Long Tail Cast-on \*\* Tip: Leave a long tail, about $7\,5^{\prime\prime}$ hanging from your cast on edge. This yarn will be used later to sew up the side. Row 1: Slip 1 st as if to knit, K1, \* P2, K1, repeat from \* until last stitch, P last stitch Row 2: Slip 1 st as if to knit, K until last stitch, P last stitch

Repeat rows 1 and 2 until piece reaches $1\,5^{\prime\prime}$ from cast on edge for regular size, $19^{\prime\prime}$ for Huge size.

huge size and a slightly smaller regular sized mitt. End on a Row 2, BO \*\* Tip: Make sure that your final bind off stitch will end at the opposite corner from where your beginning tail is. Leave a long tail of yarn from your bind off stitch, about $15^{\prime\prime}$ .Foldthe mitt in half with the nubby sides facing. Thread a tail into your darning needle and sew a whip stitch through the slipped stitches for each side and weave in the loose ends.
