About This is a tradional Scandinavian design. These hats are called "djeveluer" that translates into "devi's hats" in English. It is a very easy project, suitable for a beginning knitter. Finishing
Weave in remaining ends. Start with sewing up the back of the hat from the neck and up, then close the top as shown on ilustration. Make cords from the earflaps to tie under the chin if wanted. I just pull three strings of tread through the earflaps and braid them into a cord.
