Supplies:
K(6.5mm) Hook Tapestry Needle Worsted Weight Yarn in 2 colors Gauge: 7 12 dc = 3" MC: Main Color CC: Contrast Color
Pattern Notes:
Ch 3 always counts as a dc. MC: Main Color CC: Contrast Color OTo change color from a MC rnd to your CC, finish your last dc until you have your last 2 loops on the hook, drop MC and finish with your CC, continue on with pattern. To change color from a CC rnd to your MC, finish last ch 3, sl st into your sc, and pull thru your Mc. O You will be working dcs in groups of 3. Rnd 1: MC, Ch 149, join w sl st being careful notto twist ch. Ch 3 and dc in each ch around, join to top of ch 3. (150 dc) Rnd 2: CC, Ch 1, sc in sp between LAST dc and ch 3 sp, ch 3,\* sk 3 dc, sc in between next2 dc, ch 3\*, rpt from \* to \* around, join as stated in notes. (50 - ch 3 sps) Rnd 3: MC, Sl st in ch 3 sp, ch 3, 2dc in same sp, \*sk sc, 3dc in next ch 3 sp\*, rpt from \* to \* around, join as stated in notes,to top of ch 3. (50 -3dc groups)
Rnd 4-17: Rpt Rnds 2 and 3. Attach CC to foundation row with a sc, sc in each st around, join and finish off. You can easily adjust the width by repeating Rnds 2 and 3. Rnd 1:MC, Ch 62, join w sl st being careful not to twist. Ch 3, dc in each ch around, join as stated in notes. (63 dc) Rnd 2: CC, Ch 1, sc in sp between LAST dc and ch 3 sp, ch 3,\* sk 3 dc, sc in between next 2 dc, ch 3\*, rpt from \* to \* around, join as stated in notes. Rnd 3: MC, Sl st in ch 3 sp, ch 3, 2dc in same sp, \*sk sc, 3dc in next ch 3 sp\*, rpt from \* to \* around, join as stated in notes to top of ch 3 .
Rnd 18: CC, Ch 1 and sc in each st around, join and finish off. Rnd 4-13: Rpt Rnds 2 and 3. Do not change color atthe end of rnd 13. We will now begin working in rows. Drag your colors behind your work and work over them for each row from here on out. Row 14: With MC, sl st in next dc, sl st in next dc pulling thru CC, sc in next sp between 3dc group, \*ch 3, sk 3, sc in between next 2 dc\*, rpt from \*to\* across to last 3dc group. Your last sc will be worked in the sp BEFORE the last 3 dc. Finish last sc by pulling MC thru. Turn. (20sc, 19 ch 3 sps) Row 15: MC, sl stin ch 3 sp, ch 3, 2dc in same sp, \*3 dc in each remaining ch 3 sp\*, rpt from \* to \* across. Turn. (19 groups of dc) Row 16: MC, sl st in next dc, sl st in next dc pulling thru CC, sc in next sp between ch 3 group, \*ch 3, sk 3, sc in between next 2 dc\*, rpt from \*to\* across, finish last sc by pulling MC thru. Turn. (18/17) Row 17: Rpt Row 15. (17) Row 18: Rpt Row 16. (16/15) Row 19: Rpt Row 15. (15) Row 20: Rpt Row 16. (14/13) Row 21: Rpt Row 15. (13) Row 22: Rpt Row 16. (12/11) Row 23: Rpt Row 15. (11) Row 24: Rpt Row 16. (10/9) Row 25: Rpt Row 15. (9) Row 26: Rpt Row 16. (8/7) Row 27: Rpt Row 15. (7) Row 28: Rpt Row 16. (6/5) Row 29: Rpt Row 15. (5) Row 30: Rpt Row 16. (4/3) Row 31: Rpt Row 15. (3) Row 32: Rpt Row 16. (2/1) Row 33: Ch 3, dc2tog, finish off. Cut pieces of yarn from your CC.I cut 30- 12" pieces. Attach 2 at a time. Iattached one set to the end of my last dc2tog. The rest I did evenly up the sides at each MC point. 7 sets of fringe on each side. Attach CC to foundation row with a sc, sc in each st around, join and finish off.
