R1: FHDC 42, careful not to twist join to first HDC. (42 STS) R2: CH 2, DC in same ST, DC in next 2, FPTR in first DC, \*DC in next 3, FPTR in first DC from last 3 DC made, rep from \* around, SL ST in BLO to first DC to join. (42 DC, 14 FPTR)
NOTE: SK every FPTR in R3
R3: In BLO, CH 1, HDC in same ST, HDC in each DC around, join with SL ST to first HDC. (42 STS) R4: CH 3, TR in same ST, TR in each ST around, SL ST in BLO to first TR to join. (42STS) R5: In BLO, CH 1, HDC in each ST around. (42 STS) R6-8: Rep R2-4 R9: In BLO, CH 2, DC in same ST, DC in each ST around, SL ST in first DC to joir (42STS) : R10-11 will look like the basketweave stitch. See photo below.
R10: CH 2, \*FPDC, BPDC, rep from \* around, SL ST in beg FPDC to join (42 STS) R11: CH 2, \*BPDC, FPDC, rep from \* around, SL ST in beg FPDC to join (42 STS) R12: CH 1, REV SC in each ST around, SL ST to join (42 REV SC) Finish off.
