I've knitted these six little friends out of the little test-hanks of the Wollmeise. I mixed the colours with always knitting two of them together, just one round of the one colour and one round of the other. Above I have listed the colours of each clockwise beginning at 12 o'clock. It was really fun to knit those things. It was very easy and fast and our breakfasttable now has more colour. The colours turned out beautiful together and it was a pleasure to knit with this yarn. I didn't knit with the Wollmeisen-sockyarn yet. It has to be much cooler outside until I'll have the mood to knit socks. Here is the short pattern: Needles: 4,5mm dpn Cast on 28 st (7 st per needle), join to the round and knit 20 rounds (stockinette stitch), then in the next round and every following second round always knit the last two stitches of each needle together til there are only 4 stitches left. Put these 4 stitches on two needles and knit further 10 cm, then cut the yarn and pull the yarn through the four stitches. Weave in loose ends, make a knot in the tail and enjoy.
