A shawl pattern by Tere Gomis

The yarn used to knit this project was Malabrigo Lave color Pagoda. Needles: 3,5-4 circular needles would be suggestion. Markers, tapestry needle to weave ends, pins or blocking pins. Thepattasiuafrtranguahawls iseatedatthisf thentraltth,exc charts 5 and 6, that run symetrical to the sides of the central stitch. On the chart only uneven rows are displayed. Even rows are all purled, except for the first two and the last two stitches of each row which are always knitted. The orange shadedboxes indicate partsthat have toberepeated,the numberof repetitions are written below. The grey shaded boxes are not stitches, you just have to skip those. on the right are the number of stitches that will be left in your needle at the end of the row. You may find it usefulto placea markerbefore the central stitch, and alsoafter each repetition of the pattern.
Directions
Cast on 7 stitches and work your way following the order of the chart likewise: knit 2, knit chart, knit 1, knit chart,knit 2. Charts 5 and 6 can be repeated as many times as you wish, ending always with chart 5 before the border motif. Bind off loosely and block. Chart 1
