Yarn: Loops & Threads Silky Soft worsted (4 oz (13 gr); 226 yds (206m) - 1 skein or any worsted weight yarn Needles: 4.5 mm (US 7) 3.75 mm (US 5) Gauge: 18 st and 24 rows (stockinette) = 4"" Don't worry too much about exact gauge, the ribs make this pattern very stretchy Finished Measurements (approx): 7/4" wide x 81/4" high Puff Rib Pattern: Row 1 (RS)P2, \*YO, K1, YO, P2; repeat from \* to end Row 2 K2, \*P3, K2 to end Row 3: P2, \*K3, P2 to end Row 4: K2, \*P3tog, K2 to end e 2): Using larger needles, cast on 41 stitches with long tail cast on methc Rows 1 - 5: K1, P1 across Begin Puff Rib pattern and repeat the 4-row pattern 9 times ending on a wrong side row or until piece measures approx 5 %2" - 6" from the beginning Next, knit 4 rows of K1, P1 rib @abrnat February 2011 Eyelet row (Rs): K1, \*YO, K2tog, repeat from \* to the last 2 stitches, K2 Keeping in 1X1 rib pattern, work 5 more rows BO (use the extra stretchy bind off method below): Extra Stretchy bind off goes like this: To begin, K1, YO, pass the knit stitch over the yo and off the needle. General Assembly:
Sew the body of the tea cozy together leaving enough of an opening on either side to accommodate the spout and handle of the tea pot. Weave the I-cord through the eyelet holes and attach the ruffled ends to the ends of the Icord.
