What you will need: Main Color - worsted Secondary Color - worsted Third Color - worsted (optional) Stitch Markers Yarn needle 1/9 - 5.5MM Hook Gauge: 4"x3" = 13 dc wide by 6 dc rows tall This pattern is written in US terms: slst [slip stitch]: insert hook, yarn over, pull the loop back through the stitch, then through the loop on your hook. sc [single crochet]: insert hook, yarn over, pull the loop back through the stitch (two loops on hook), yarn over and pull through the two loops. ch [chain]: yarn over, pull through loop. cdc [chainless double crochet, will count as the first stitch, replacing beginning chain]: To make the stitch, pull up the loop on the hook to the height of a normal dc stitch. Hold the forefinger of your hook-holding hand on top of the stretched loop, against the hook. so itcan't move. Yarn over the hook with the stretched loop, so that the loop is wrapped around the hook. Insert hook, yarn over the working yarn again, and pull through both loops on the hook (releasing the pressure on the stretched loop as you pull the other loop through). This can be adjusted by using an H-5.0MM/Jj-6.0MM hook, if you don't like it fitting snug or making it for a female. The slst is not counted as a stitch. (For example: Row 02 will have 20 count but Row 03 you will only work in 19 stitches. There should be no gap at the end of each row.)
