Summerskirt with kitty
Designed by Elin Bergsdottir My girlygirl likes to wear a skirt that “goes up' when she spins, so I designed one with left over cotton. She loves Hello kitty so I added the kitty to the pattern, she loves hearts so the skirt has hearts. This one will be perfect for summer 2-4 years
Arn:
7 different colored cotton (or as many you desire) less than one skein each. (Sport, 5 ply, 12 wpi)
Recommended needles;
US 6 - 4.0 mm round needles 60 cm.
Instructions:
Start by casting on 90sts with color no 1 Knit 5 rounds Purl 1 round Knit 5 rounds (Later fold, sew and add elastic) Change to color no 2 and start increases and knit according to diagram on next page When finished with diagram: Use 2nd color and knit 3 rows and keep increasing in the same matter as before. Do the same with 3rd-5th color, knit like before, 3 rows each with increases Change to color 6, knit one round Next round: knit in front and back loop of every stitch Next round: knit Cast of with 7th color Sew waistband and add elastic, sew eyes nose and bow on kitty
