Little Arrow Socks
Cast on a multiple of 8 on your preferred needle size for socks. I cast on 48 sts with size 2 needles. Work P1, K1, for about an inch then start pattern rows. Pattern rows Round 1: $^{\ast}\mathsf{K}3$ , P2, K1, $\mathsf{P}2^{*}$ around Round 2: $\ast_{\mathsf{K4}}$ , P1, K1, P1, $\mathsf{K}1^{*}$ around Round 3: $\looparrowleft P1$ , K1, P1, ${\sf K}{\sf5}^{\ast}$ around Round 4: $\looparrowleft P1$ , K1, P2, K3, $\mathsf{P1^{*}}$ around Work these 4 rounds until cuff reaches desired length. Then work whatever heel you like. I prefer the short row heel. Continue the pattern on the top of the foot and knit the bottom, when sock reaches about 1.5 inches less than the desired length, work your toe. $\circledcirc$ copyright 2009 Dani Pace, All rights reserved
