With col1, cast on 56 st Work k1, p1, flat and a bit tight Change to knitting in the round and start the pattern, following the chart Do not forget to twist the yarns on the back every 5 st or so, so they don't hang down Work the star pattern 2 or 3 times as required Finish with 2 rows of k1, p1 rib and at the same time decrease a couple of st cross the rnd With col 1, cast off in rib Weave in all loose end and felt the wristlets a little by hand in hot water
