Materials needed:
. U.S. M/13-9 mm crochet hook · Super bulky weight yarn (9O yards) Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick yarn used · Super bulky weight yarn for stripe (15 yards) Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick yarn used · 1 1.5 inch button Gauge: 2 stitches = 1 inch With the M/13-9 mm crochet hook and main yarn color (cream pictured), chain the number of stitches needed for the size bag you are making. chain 17 (small) approx. 9.5 inches width by 10 inches height chain 25 (medium) approx. 12.5 inches width by 13 inches height chain 33 (large) approx. 15.5 inches width by 16 inches height Next work a half double crochet (hdc) in the 2nd chain from the hook, 14 (22, 30) hdc, 2 hdc in the last chain. Now you will be working up the other side of your chains, 14 (22, 30) hdc, slip stitch into the first hdc. Round 1: chain 2 (counts as first hdc), 32 (48, 64) hdc, slip stitch into the first hdc. Repeat round 1: two more times (a total of three) size small. four more times (a total of five) size medium. five more times (a total of six) size large. Switch to the contrast color (black picturea). Repeat round 1: 3 times (small) 4 times (medium) 5 times (large) Switch back to the main color (cream pictured). Repeat round 1: 3 times (small) 5 times (medium/large)

Button hole: Round 1: chain 2 (counts as first hdc), 13 (21, 29) hdc, chain 2 {skip 2 stitches}, 17 (25, 33) hdc, slip stitch into the first hdc. (32, 48, 64 sts) Round 2: chain 2 (counts as first hdc), 31 (47, 63) hdc, slip stitch into the first hdc. (32, 48, 64 sts) Handles:
small size:
Round 1: chain 2 (counts as first hdc), 12 hdc, chain 4 {skip 3 stitches}, 13 hdc, chain 4 {skip 3 stitches}, slip stitch into the first hdc. (34 sts) Round 2: chain 2 (counts as first hdc), 33 hdc, slip stitch into the first hdc. (34 sts) Break yarn, weave in all the ends. Add button to the inside of the bag, opposite the button hole. I tie mine on, then pull tails to the inside and weavein.
medium/large size:
Round 1: chain 2 (counts as first hdc), 19 (27) hdc, chain 5 {skip 4 stitches}, 20 (28) hdc, chain 5 {skip 4 stitches}, slip stitch into the first hdc. (50, 66 sts) Round 2: chain 2 (counts as first hdc), 49 (65) hdc, slip stitch into the first hdc. (50, 66 sts) Repeat round 2 one more time for size large only. Break yarn, weave in all the ends. Add button to the inside of the bag, opposite the button hole. I tie mine on, then pull tails to the inside and weavein.

Bow:
With the U.S. M/13-9 mm crochet hook, chain 65 (85, 105), slip stitch into the second chain from the hook, slip stitch in each chain all across. Break yarn and weave in the ends. Weave the tie through the round right above the button hole. I wove mine so the bow would tie three stitches to the left of the button hole. However you can tie it where ever you like.
