Pattern: (multiply of 2 stitches $^+$ 1 stitch) 1. Row: purl 2. Row: \*purl 2 together\*, purl 1 repeat from \*to \* 3. Row: purl 1, $^{\star}{\sf m}\,^{\:1=}$ with left needle tip, lift strand between needles from front to back, purl this loop, purl 1\* repeat from \* to \* 4. Row: purl 1 \*yo, purl 2 together\* repeat from \* to \* Note: There will be two strands between needles in row 3 because of the pattern in row2. Take only one of this strands to make a new stitch. Scarf: Cast on 23 stitches. Repeat the pattern until you have reached the desired length (in case of the picture 57 times). Cast off. Weave in loose ends.
