Amigurumi Snoopy Keychain

Materials:
Size H/8 or 5.00mm Crochet Hook Yarn Needle Stitch Marker Scissors 2" Key Ring Polyester Fiberfill Worsted Weight Yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver Solids) White for head Black for ears, eyes, nose, and smile
Abbreviations:
Ch - Chain Sc - Single Crochet Sc2tog - Single Crochet 2 stitches together (decrease) S1 st - Slip Stitch St(s) - Stitch(es)
Head
Round 1: With white yarn, make a magic circle. Do 5sc in the magic circle. Pull on the yarn end to close up the hole. (5) Round 2: Make 2sc in each st. (10) Round 3: 2sc, sc in the next st (repeat this pattern around). (15) Rounds 4-7: Sc around. (15) Round 8: \*Sc. 2sc.\* two times. Sc for the rest of the round. (17) Round 9: \*Sc. Sc. 2sc.\* two times. Sc for the rest of the round. (19) Rounds 10-12: Sc around. (19) Round 13: Sc2tog. Sc for the rest of the round. (18) Round 14: Sc2tog, sc in the next st (repeat this pattern around). (12) Stuff the head with polyester fiberfill before continuing. Round 15: Sc2tog around six times. (6) Fasten off. Sew the top closed and tie securely.
Ears (make 2)
Round 1: With black yarn, make a magic circle. Do 6sc in the magic circle. Pull on the yarn end to close up the hole. (6) Round 2: Make 2sc in each st. (12) Rounds 3-4: Sc around. (12) Round 5: Sc2tog. Sc in the next st (repeat this pattern around). (8) Round 6: Sc around. (8) Round 6: Sc2tog around four times. (4) Fasten off. Flatten the ear and sew the hole closed. Leave a long tail for sewing the ears Onto the head.
Sewing on Snoopy's Eyes, Nose, Smile, and Ears
Use black yarn to embroider the features on Snoopy's face. Before beginning, make sure that the small, round bump of the head is on top and the long, round bump is in front. · For the eyes...embroider at about round 8 of the head, about 3 sts apart. For the nose...embroider at the center of the long, round bump in front. · For the smile...embroider on the bottom half of the head (at about round 5 or round6). For the ears...sew the ears a little behind the eyes (between round 9 and round 11—4 sts apart).

Adding in the Key Ring
Use yarn needle to slip a piece of yarn (about 14") through the top of Snoopy's head. Tie securely. Slip hook into the same loop. Ch. 4. Remove hook from the loop and slip key ring into the 4-chain. Put the hook back into the loop and sl st into the same loop where you slipped the yarn into. Fasten off. Sew in the ends.
