Materials
1000m. (1094 yards) of any fingering or light fingering yarn of your choice. · Circular knitting needle 4,00 mm.(Us 7), 100cm (40 inc.) or longer · Circular knitting needle 3.5 mm.(Us 6), 100cm (40 inc.) or longer stitch marker (at least 14) rust-proof pins (for blocking)
Stitches
Garter stitch: knit every row ? Stockinet stitch: knit on right rows, purl on wrong rows Reverse stockinet stich: purl on right rows, knit on wrong rows. Please read carefully before you start your project · The shawl is knitted from the neck down the edge. Charts shall be read from right to left. Only the odd rows are shown in the charts. On even rows you knit over the knit stitches and purl over the purl stitches. YO (yarn over) are purled on even rows. Place stitch markers before and after each chart repeat Charts are split into 2 parts: A anf B. The numbers shown on the bottom of the chart do not represent the stitch count. Print and overlap A and B on stich 55 . This will give you the complete chart. Please use A4 paper.

How to knit a M1 increase

This increase is also called 'Make One'. Work to the place where the increase is to be made. Insert the left needle from front to back into the horizontal strand between the two stitches:
