With col 2, cast on 132 stitches (sts) Work in stockinette st for 2 cm to make a rolled edge Add col 1 and continue with the stripes: \*k1 with col 1, k1 with col 2\* for 10 rounds (rnds) At the same time work a k1, p1 rib, preferably using the dark colour for the purl sts Continue by following the pattern in the diagram below: Repeat the row with the flower twice for a short beanie and 3 times for a longer one When starting a new pattern repeat, shift the pattern towards the left, starting the flower at column 17 in the diagram Put a marker at the beginning of the row to make it easier to see
