Verily Knits
Tigs is a simple unisex cardigan knit from the top down with absolutely no seaming required. The textured diamonds give it that little bit of added interest.

Instructions:
CO 44 (48, 54, 66)sts using your favourite cast on Knit 4 rows Marker set-up rd (RS): (K2, YO, K2tog, for boy) or (K4, for girl), K5 (6, 7, 9), M1R, K1, PM, M1L, K5 (5, 5, 7), M1R, PM, K1, M1L, K12 (14, 18, 22), M1R, K1, PM, M1L, K5 (5, 5, 7), M1R, PM, K1, M1L, K5 (6, 7, 9), (K4 for boy) or (K2tog, YO, K2, for girl). 52 (56, 62, 74)sts
Raglan Increase Section:
Row 1 (Ws): K4, P to last 4 sts, K4 Row 2 (RS): \*K to 1 stitch before M, M1R, K1, SM, M1L, Kto M, M1R, SM, K1, M1L, rep from \* once more, K to end Repeat the above 2 rows 8 (9, 10, 11) more times, then a Ws row once more. At the same time make a buttonhole on a RS row every 8 rows by working (K2, YO, K2tog) at the beginning of the row for a boy or (K2tog, YO, K2) at the end of a row for a girl. You will have a total of 124 (136, 150, 170)sts, there will be 20 (22, 24, 27)sts for each front, 25 (27, 29, 33)sts for each sleeve and 34 (38, 44, 50)sts for the back. Divide for armholes: Next row (Rs): K across 20 (22, 24, 27)sts, RM, place next 25 (27, 29, 33)sts 0nto waste yarn for sleeve, CO 3sts, RM, K across 34 (38, 44, 50) back sts, RM, place next 25 (27, 29, 33)sts onto waste yarn for sleeve, C0 3sts, RM, K to end. 80 (88, 98, 110)sts Body: Row 1 (WS): K4, P to last 4sts, K4 Row 2 (RS): K all sts Repeat rows 1 and 2 until work measures 3 (3.5, 4, 5)" ending on a RS row, not forgetting to continue adding buttonholes.

Sleeves (both worked the same):
With RS facing place the 25 (27, 29, 33) sleeve sts onto DPNs and rejoin yarn. Knit across these sts then pick up and knit 3sts at the underarm, join to work in the round. 28 (30, 32, 36)sts Knit 3 (4, 4, 6) rows Next row: P all sts Next row: K all sts Rep above 2 rows once more BO all sts Purlwise.
Finishing:
wet block to stated measurements, once completely dry weave in all ends and add buttons.
