Abbreviations: K = knit sts = stitches

Cow!:
Cast on 106 sts, and work as follows: Work two rows in garter stitch, which is knit across all sts each row, then continue in stitch pattern
Stitch Pattern:
Row 1: (right side) K2, \*K1, wrapping the yarn around needle twice, repeat from \* to last 2 sts, K2 Row 2: Purl across all sts, dropping the extra loop created from the wound stitch These two rows form the pattern stitch Repeat rows 1 - 2 two more times Cast off all stitches loosely or work the option given below Option: Work a further two rows in garter stitch before casting off (this will result in a slightly wider cowl, but will help prevent it curling up if preferred)
Complete Cowl:
With right sides together, sew row ends together, then turn right side out, and weave in yarn breaks (Please note there is really no wrong or right side, as the cowl will be twisted and wrapped) Place around doll's neck, twist and Wrap, I was able to wrap twice, gently pull into shape Measures approx. 31 12" in length (before seaming into a loop) Copyright: Please respect my designer rights, and as such the copyright of this pattern will always remain with me; it's text, photos copyright 2013 Debonair Designs.
