th 4 mm (US 6) needles CO 44 stitches. (Note: for a wider scarf CO 5, 10, 15 etc. stitches more.) Row 1(RS): P3, \* k3, p2, repeat from \* to 6 stitches before end of row, k3, p3. Row 2 (WS): K3, \* p3, k2, repeat from \* to 6 stitches before end of row, p3, k3. Row 3 (RS): Repeat Row 1. Row 4 (WS): Knit. Row 5 (RS): Purl. Row 6 (Ws): Repeat Row 2. Row 7(RS): Repeat Row 1.
